The Auricchio Company was founded in the year 1877
by Gennaro Auricchio at San Vesuviano in the province of Naples. It was Mr. Auricchio who developed the ingredients that endows their Provolone with the special flavor that is unique in the world.
The Auricchio family soon expanded their enterprise beyond Naples to it's current world headquarters in Cremona, where today, "Auricchio" is the world leader in provolone
and the company ranks among the top five Dairy producers
in Italy.

 The brand name Auricchio, imprinted on all it's products
with it's monogrammed "A" and stylized anchor, is recognized
throughout the world as the symbol for quality in Provolone
from Italy.
